FILMMAKER'S  DRAGONHEART

The "Filmmaker's Dragonheart" trophy is a highly valued award, a unique, numbered, and unrepeatable piece, awarded by juries composed of filmmakers who have won prizes in previous editions of the festival.

The soul of this trophy lies in the origin of how it was created. Designing the trophy required a year of collaboration with artists and filmmakers to find that element of San Sebastián that, in addition to its originality, could be closely linked to the world of cinema and the spirit of the "Dragon Heart" that all filmmakers carry within them.

So, what better source of inspiration for the Kursaal Film Festival San Sebastián (KFFSS) trophy than the dragons adorning the lampposts of the María Cristina Bridge?
